The Hondo Valley Field Trial Club has cancelled the scheduled trial set for Jan 17-18 due to adverse road conditions on the state grounds located near Santa Fe NM off State Highway 14. Recent Snow and melting conditions have made the ingress/egress road impassable and severe conditions for trailer and truck parking. Additional snow is set for next week prior to the 17th.
On behalf of the Region 12 Field Trial Association we extend to Mr. Junker our sincere appreciation in establishing another AF/AFTCA type trial in the region. A reschedule is planned for the fall.

Canceled. I rode the fields today. There is about 6" or so in sloppy mud. We will NEVER get trucks and trailers into the staging area. We won't even be able to park on the side of NM 14 at the gate. Sorry. We are expecting 4" of snow tonight and then a warming trend through next weekend. There's just no way, Dave. BTW. The fields open up huge to BLM at the back of the sections. Hardly any cholla and lots of places for birds to be planted. I killed a half limit of Blues this afternoon. My dogs didn't like it and my horse didn't like it. Give me a date you's like to try again. I will notify those I have on the string. If you could do a mass - mailing to cancel I'd be in you debt. Sorry. It just isn't meant to happen this month.
