They are the result of 19 years of grouse hunters and field tested foundation stock. These pups come a proven line of dogs that break easy, fast and maintain the stamina and style to make the perfect grouse hunter or test/trial competor.
Sire: Honey Run’s von Koda, NAI - (OFA Excellent) Koda received his NAI at 5 ½ months of age with a max score of 112. Koda spends most of his time in the grouse woods around his home in North Central PA. Koda’s sire needs no introduction – NAVHDA VC CH Honey Run’s Puck, MH and of course his dam doesn’t either, Baretta vom Otterbach, MH, NAI, UTII, D1, AZP1 (Baretta also received her NAI score of 112 at 5 ½ months of age). Koda’s full siblings, Honey Run’s Snout is a NAI score 112 and Honey Run’s Puckinaright, NAI with a score of 108.
Dam: Honey Run’s Frau von Wildburg, JH - (OFA Good) Molly earned a NAVHDA NA Breeders award for her first litter and 2 pups from her 2nd litter were tested, both with scores of 112. Molly is a combination of DC Hillhaven’s Hustler, DC Erick von Enzstrand, DC Kay vd Wildburg and DC Shill Rest’s Impressive. Molly is a hard charging excellent grouse hunter, exhibiting the natural skills needed in the grouse woods of PA.
