Seriously: There is a good deal of nice genetic material put aside from breeding because we do not actually measure the dogs ability but the handlers ability... Torsti ~~~~~~~~~~~~ You are correct, there are many trial and testing organizations with members that make their decision to breed based on trials or tests of mature dogs. This habit ignores the fact that what the trainer does isn't included in the dog's genes. If the desire is to have a finished dog contest to select breeding stock the winner should be the dog that performs adequately when its trainer is an idiot! Cj
