I'm so proud of my Morrison!  Here is the story...

Last night DH was flying home and he lost/forgot his car keys on his first plane.  Since he parks at the airport he needed me to go and give him the spare set of keys in order to drive home.  Morrison came with me for the ride, in our wagon.  As I drove up to the drop off curb, where we had agreed to meet, I saw that DH was looking awfully tired so I told him to tell me where the Mustang was parked so that he could drive the wagon home immediately.  I leashed up Morrison and we set off to find the Mustang as DH drove home.

DH had parked the Mustang in the furthest lot/ramp/parkade from where he had asked me to meet him, a symptom of how tired he was.  Morrison and I walked through a small area and into the nearest lot and walked to the end of that lot only to find that there was no way to cross over to the next lot where the car was.  We walked all the way back and entered the building hearing aircraft take off and land along with other strange noises.  Morrison noticed the loud noises but didn't react in any way - whoo hoo!  Morrison sat very nicely while I asked a couple of maintenance guys how to get to the blue lot, he then wriggled his butt and got some petting from them.

We had to go down 3 floors on an elevator first.  This was Morrison's first elevator ride and he was a little nervous of the movement and crouched a little.  When the door opened he bolted out but stopped short so that he wouldn't pull on his leash.  He then walked at my side through the underground area with a lot of passengers etc milling around.  A lot of people noticed us as I guess it was a little strange - I didn't even have a purse much less luggage or a crate with me.  Morrison was a hit and garnered some smiles!

Then we had to take the tram to the far lot - Morrison's first time on a train of any type!  The doors opened and he walked in at my side very calmly, I asked him to lie down and I yawned at him.  That is our calming sign to tell him that this is all perfectly normal.  He tucked a paw under him and lay there watching the other passengers while the tram took off, making turns and jolting a couple of times.  He was alert but totally relaxed.  He did get a lot of smiles and nods from the people on the tram.

The doors opened and we calmly walked off the tram and over to the elevator.  There was a window in this one so he jumped up and put his front paws on the rail to watch stuff going by.  Some of the other passengers chuckled and mentioned what a good dog he was.  Upon arriving at our floor we had to make our way off the elevator by pushing past others - I think Morrison was more polite about it than I was!

We found the Mustang and made our way home.  Quite the adventure for my Morrison!  I have to say - he was a rock star.

Sorry for the long story - just had to share.

WooHoo!! Way to go Morrison.  Congratulations on a great job in training your pup.  What a test.
