Welcome to

The hawkeye NAVHDA chapter held there test this past weekend ,well Fri., Sat. and Sun. I would like to thank Trey, for helping us out in short notice as another one of the judges had recently come down with west niles.
The weather was great for the three day event.
My pup OZ recorded a prize II 102 at 15 months of age. I think two non productive points and a less than stellar track was the difference in a prize one and a prize two. The judges get to see your pup for about an hour in total while under judgement for the day and judge what they see in this time frame.
Now the training begins!!! We might go bird hunting as well!!!!!
Congrats Randy on Oz doing so well and the chapter putting on a great test. Sounds like it got a little hot, glad I am waiting till Oct to test mine....now watch it be super hot for Oct
Congrats Randy, who is OZ out of?
Hogan, Oz is out of my Liver male Hickory point's Spec "Spike" and the female is top gun ginger. I had Ozzie with me when you ran a pup in Iowa a while back. I will take him hunting now and begin formal training. He has yet to ever had a shock collar on him . He is a brush buster can't waite to get him in the grouse woods come Oct.
Glad to hear your pup did well this last weekend.
