Hi Im a military wife who has had it up to my ears with our gsp. He is 3 years old and 85lbs. I am hoping to find some ways to cope with the dog so that I dont lose my mind:)

i guess the first question is...what is driving you nuts? ...what does he do (or not do)..... does he get plenty of run/work time so he's happy to be calm in the house? .....just for starters :)

A good dog is a tired dog. This fully applies to the breed we all love here, GSP. It takes a certain kind of a person, a lot of exercise, perhaps a few ruined pieces of furniture, not mentioning the small items when you have given yourself a day-off. My dog certainly doesn't forgive me if I think that is is too rainy or too cold for his daily exercise (see the bit about the furniture). :)

The above post is all you need to know. Lola is the an angel when she's tired, but a maniac when she's ready to play.
