Congratulations!  That is a fantastic brag.  How old is Bullet?  Can you post a picture?

Wow I would call that one big brag - way to go Bullet and of course his trainer. Yes please post a picture. I see you are from Seymour I have family there :) Do you do much training with EP? Do you run trails in AF also?

Thanks.  This is Bullett He turned 8 in May. He didn't even get to see his first trial till he was nearly six and he also earned our first placement in an Adult stake.

You can see some of his kids here:

Flash, Annie, Duke are all litter mates out of him, and Abbey is out of him as well.  Between the four of them we have 20 plus placements, several wins, and Abbey is just one point from finishing her FC.

He's one of the three best hunting dogs I've ever walked behind that he's done pretty well field trialing with 15 placements and 2major  wins was really a nice surprise.  That he's turned out to be such a nice producer of both hunters and trial prospects makes me a very proud papa.CR

Training pointers is usually a lot easier since most of them don't have nearly the retrieving instinct which makes them easier to break.  Of course they are usually a lot more hard headed HA!

I've run a couple of the AF NGSPA events and one AF open.  I'm a shorthair guy and there's very little point in running in the open AF events though because you not only have to beat the long tails you have to beat them all over the place to even get an honorable mention with a GSP.

Just makes more sense to run where you are welcome.  I learned early on that in the trial game there are a lot of places that are more than happy to shake your hand and take your money where they have no intention of giving your dogs a fair look.  I just don't spend my money going to those types of trials any more. Real nice Brag Charlie, but a bit more than a "Wee little brag"!
I'd say that qualifies as a substantially larger brag and a very good reason to be a Proud Papa!
GRATS!

Money will buy a fine dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail.
