Haiko is independent,confident,cooperative and is a wonderful house companion.Haiko has a very high prey drive that shows itself in his water searches and tracking. He has a strong passion for work and is all business whether in the water,field or searching.Haiko has plenty of style to go around and is naturally staunch. He covers ground fast and effortlessly,never tiring.He was born with an excellent nose  and the desire to use it.Haiko has been hunting since he was 7 months old. He is hunted on grouse,snipe, state released pheasants and duck.Haiko is calm in the house,great with kids and gets along with other dogs..

Haiko is out of the famous european kennel Czarnego Dworu. In his lines are Malomkozi Saba,KS Malomkozi Baron,Wasov Rothenuffeln, Zenit Rothenuffeln,Hatz Osterberg, Amigo KS Asseburg,on both sides.

Haiko is a blending of the famous Malomkozi Kennel (Hungarian)with  some of the best German Kennels along with the famous Ze Stipek Kennel (czech Rep)

Haiko has passed derby (younger dog breeding test),solms (young dog breed test), AZP (older dog breed test).

NAVHDA NA 

We have tested in 2 NAVHDA UT and both were not passed due to a steadiness issue in the field.

Here are the results of Haiko's UT on 9-27-08

Search for duck:4, walking at heel:4, remaining at blind:4, steadiness by blind:4, retrieve of duck:4, Field: search:4, pointing:4, steadiness:1, retrieve of shot bird:1, retrieve of drag: 3,nose:4,desire to work:4,stamina:4,cooperation:3,obedience:3.

Haiko found the one phasant put out which was a runner, he handled her excellent, he found 2 quail and 2 chukar. His search was calm and methodical,searching both fields completely.There was a youth hunt in the field over which did not distract Haiko from the fields we hunted.He was steady for minutes at a time, even when out of sight of me and very staunch.He made an awesome retrieve of a wounded quail,doing what he was bred to do - bring all game to the table. Haiko's water search could have sold tickets. He was the only dog to find a duck and make a live retrieve through heavy cover. I had my doubts but the senior judge said he can do it and he did.

Steadiness is a training issue - my issue- and we will try again in spring of 2009.

INDI is my dog's grandma and he too has got Ze Stipek line from the dam's side. Hope to have similar achievements one day.
