Fieldmaster's Nothing But Trouble  "Boogie" went Best of Winners on Fri. for 2 points and on Sun. for 2 points @  Sugarbush Kennel Club in Chagrin Falls, OH.  That gives him a total of 11 points towards his Championship in just 4 weekends of showing. Taking the next few weeks off and will be working on some field work.

Very nice looking dog! When my Hunter point he doesn't hold his head up high. He usually has it straight out with a stern look on his face and a straight line up to his tail sticking up? That's not bad right? I think it looks awesome. Congrats on your win!

Thanks Guys, I had him here for about 3 weeks starting him on birds. He is extremely intense and driven in the field. Lots of go in this boy. Couple pictures from a training session.     Robert

Our boy with normally just point with his "body" no foot up but tail straight up. I personally like that look better than foot up. It looks more bold to me. I don't know if this would be ok in a field trial or hunt trial but that doesn't concern me. I am happiest that he is pointing. So I wouldn't worry about your dogs pointing style unless that is important to you.

Yeah, That's what I was wondering too. All of the others point with tail up and head up. Not always pulling their paw up. Sometimes even a back foot will be up crazy dogs. Hunter and Stud both point alot with their heads straight out. It is an intense pose and I love it. I love when you are working them and they take real spiratic breaths and you can watch their eye lids move back and forth as they look for the bird. I could watch them all day long with this. These guys are so awesome!!!

I agree!!!! The best part of the hunt is the point. You can just feel the adrenaline pumping through the dog with them saying I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT! COME ON LETS GET THAT BIRD! WHOOO HOOOO! :-)
