I'll try to get some pics, meantime, just wanted to say, that every stuffed toy Bean gets, is shredded...SOOOO  we stick to solid ( rubber types ) with no nobbers    BTW I just looked at one of them, attempting to post the name, all it said in fine print was MADE IN CHINA.....I tossed it.

Her other toys are from west paw design  made in usa

Bean's fave is the HURLEY

Spot does what Daniel does. The lifespan of a toy is minutes. I bought a toy from Campmor described as indestructible. I think it lasted 15 minutes.

Osiris is so cute. I think I like him so much because he looks like Spot. They could be littermates.

hee hee, that's been my experience as well. a crack habit would cost less than supplying a shorthair with stuffed toys.

Speaking of crack habits, Halo loves laser pointers to the point of obsession.  I don't play with her with the laser pointer very often because she will go stand at the drawer where I keep it pointing the drawer for hours.  I do use the pointer in the conformation ring with her, and she baits better for the pointer than for food.  I also found our that her Aunt was finished using a laser pointer.  We discovered her obsession when we were playing with the laser pointer with the cats.

I bought a Kong for Osiris when we first got him because everyone said how great they were. He really doesn't care for it. I first gave it to him with nothing in it, and he looked at me like "What the heck is this??" Then I tried stuffing it with peanut butter or cream cheese, and all he does it lick it out and then that's it!!

As you can see, the Kong has been abandoned but he has cream cheese on his snout....

Here he is, licking the cream cheese from his nose...

My girls don't like Kongs either.  They do the same thing, lick the stuffing out then leave it.  As a matter of fact they don't particularly care for any hard rubber toys.

Here is a picture of Halo with one of her favorite toys, the Coleman Fox (it does not have any stuffing and she has now had it for a year and it still has all it legs, ears, etc.).  I did notice it now has a small hole in the back.  She carries is all around and sleeps with it.  Belle and Halo also play tug with it.  The toy is a bit expensive, but she hasn't torn it up yet.

I really wonder - is it a GSP thing to de-stuff the toys and carry around the skin? I've never seen any other kind of dog do that!
