This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Congratulations!!!
Very Cool. Does anyone know this dogs full name?
Contratulations. This is a venue I've always thought GSP's would excel at if anyone ever took the time and effort to train for it. I've got a couple here that will stand flat footed at the egde of my in ground pool and easily jump the twenty feet to the opposite bank. The pool is 45 feet long and one of them with a running start will easily jump about 2/3 of the distance.
It definitely takes a dog with great athleticism no "fear of flying" to be the "right dog" for this type of competition and the owners should be very proud. I'm sure it's take a lot of work to get the dog to this level. CR
Although I am new to the sport, I am under the impression that each club has it's own record, and it's own way of judging. I looked up the records this morning: The Ultimate Air Dogs is 26'8" set last weekend by my GSP, Seven. The Splashdogs record is 26'5" set in 2007 by a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Henry. The Dock Dogs Record since 2005 is 28’10” set by a Greyhound Mix named Country. Each record is posted on the specific clubs website, you just have to dig alittle.
Look at that air born!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!
