Keep the faith on the black and whites being accepted in the world of conformation! Also, you dont need a clue! Just a nice dog! Most GSP people are great with new people!

Fred is doing just fine! getting Big! He's up to  7 points now! we need some majors with good judges!!!

moms is right, you don't have to have a clue to start showing. I certainly didn't when I got Halo.  She and I have learned together and are having a blast.  And better yet she is half way to her Championship all owner handled.  Do some reading, watch some shows, and if there is one in the area get into a conformation class.  Then try some matches.  You can also show in UKC as they do not allow pro handlers and the atmosphere is much more laid back, a good place to start when you are a newby.  Go in to have something fun to do with your dog and everything else will follow.

Also, one of these days the black and black and white will pass in the US. There are too many nice black and black and white pups out there. Just keep the faith and give it a try.
