I have never heard of, or seen a dog get a bloody nose ! Today after about 90 minutes into our walk, BEAN dove into a soft dirt embankment...I laughed ( at first )....her entire head was buried for a second, then she shook that off, and away we went, headed toward home. I went to give her a drink, and saw she was bleeding..thought it may have been a cut, but at that time it wasn't clear where the blood originated. i flushed her mouth and nose area, still not sure about the exact injury.... ( always carry Xtra water bottles ) It stopped bleeding and MY GUESS, is it was a bloody nose...she's fine now, no scratch or anything. Anyone else ever have a dog get a bloody nose ?

I never knew dogs had nose bleeds until my Vizsla had one. He had run into something head first and it bled a little. Enough to scare me, but he was fine.
