Ahhh! Kick your shoes off & ease the seat back...."someplace.....to SHARE" THANKS: GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER PAGE Great job! If I could only figure out quotes. I'm still see'n'spots after 2 decades w/GSPs, glad to hear from others suffering the same affliction. Think Kal is asleep on the couch, slobbering on the pillows. Couldn't get him to bark all day, even delaying feeding! Trying to get him to bark is rekindling whatever early 'basic training' he had & he'll stick like a shadow. Poor guy must have been silenced ruthlessly as an apartment puppy in S FL's megapolous by his 1st 2 owners. Then he spent over a year dumped in a small fenced yard, running wild in circles, on the edge of a rural subdevelopment near a river. I've been leash training him at the fleamarket, where, at 1st, he'd loose it & bark, lunge & jump at all the critters. He just saw chickens, roosters, turkeys, geese, goats, pigs, horses & knows where the regulars set up. He's hypnotized by whatever they've got in a cage & practically turns to stone, but only tries an occasional nose butt. Fortunately none of the critters acted scared & all the owners OK'd Kal's approach, he'll watch an aquarium like TV. A gal w/rabbits takes 1 out to let Kal sniff it & know he can't have it. She'd had a terrible accident backing a horse trailer, where her adopted Bassett got put down. Her husband was napping w/rolled up blanket holding a new Bassett pup. Now Kal has "someplace....to SHARE" too.
