While judging a ht this weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting a man from CO, who had two of your dogs (I believe his name was Micheal?). Both dogs passed, and I think finished. It was pretty grim, and he was the highlight of the day for sure. A very nice man, with two very nice dogs!

Tracy,

Thanks, Michael sent me an email last evening.  What great news.  Before the boys, he hadn't done anything like this before.  He has the bug bad and I think will soon be ready for another pup.  And to top it off, those 3 (Michael and the dogs) hunt birds from TX to ND to MT to KS and other places I will never get to.

Well, if you ever want to come out this way and hunt, you are more then welcome! He did a very nice job with the boys. He was very nervous, and almost blew it on the back on the second dog (first didn't have to do any call backs, got it all done in the field) it was nice he wasn't running away from a backing situation, he actually was trying to get it done in the field. During his backing call back, he started talking to me (I can't even remember what he was saying!) but the dog was starting to fidgit, I finally whispered 'pay attention to your dog!'. He did a great job, the dogs enjoyed working for him true teamwork!
He really liked the white male pup I had there, wants a white one next year, I told him I would probably re breed the litter, to stay in touch.

Trey, thanks for the invite, you never know, I just might take you up on that.  I get another weeks vacation next year, so that would bring me up to 5 weeks.  What are the best date ranges to hunt out there?

Another Honey Run pup did really well last weekend.  BISS CH Honey Run's Spittin Image, SH completed her SH title in fine style.  Adam will be putting her right into Masters in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations Cindy on how fine of a litter that has turned out to be.  There are not many gsp breeders producing top notch show quality pups that are getting Navhda prizes and SH or better Ht titles.  Great job!

Matt

Cindy, I usually tell people the best time is Late November, or after December 15. It is usually hot on the opening weeks (though we have had snow also!) and corn will still be in in some places. Then shotgun deer season is the first couple weeks in Dec, and I am stupid busy at that time. Just let me know! Congrats on the new title also!
