Today is the close of the grouse season here where we hunt.  We have been still putting up grouse. ( no gun of course)  The timber doodles should be returning soon for some spring training.

 Rowdy has been practically loading the car for me in anticipation... I haven't told him yet that I'm taking him for his first planted bird trip Sunday.  Let us know how the dogs do on your excursions.
