The Heartland Chapter is sponsoring a handlers Clinic to be held in Thurman, IA., April 19 and 20th. More information about handlers clinics can be found at NAVHDA.org. If you are going to run in a NAVHDA test, or have run,  they are a great help in understanding what is being looked for. Unlike the AKC seminars for judges you actually go out in the field and judge dogs (2 on sat and 2 on sun) of all levels, so it is more 'hands on'. A handlers clinic is also the first step if you want to get into the apprenctice program. You can contact me for more details or entry.
