Two day winter storm left us with record snowfalls for the dates. I believe almost 13 inches the first day...I can't remember what the number was the second (but it was less). Snow we can handle, the blustery winds get you. Hwys and roads along the lake were closed for a day and a half. BUT we didn't care about any of that, we just enjoyed it! The first day, I walked Bella our usual route in snow shoes. The second we just stayed home and enjoyed the fresh powder in the yard.

Asking the cat nicely for her favorite spot back now that she's tuckered and ready to get warm!

Looks so fun. The GSP that came from the same breeder I am using and work with loves the snow and acts similarly, in the fenced in yard when we had our snow storm a week and a half ago, she dug tunnels along the fence and was running through them as fast as she could. It was very funny to watch her.

WOW!!! Such beautiful pictures and video :) I thought Bella's tail was wagging in time lapse the whole time, she's really enjoying herself! I really wanted to take Luna up to the mountains this winter, but the snow never sticks around long enough :o/ The scenery is so beautiful in Michigan...I really need to pay my cousin a visit :)

Thanks guys! Here we are with another winter advisory through tonight...3-5 inches possible. I'm not gonna lie...I'm ready for Summer lol. Michigan is most definitely worth a visit, but only Northern MI or the UP :) (No offense to anywhere further downstate, I'm just clearly biased). I heard on the radio today that in a poll Michigan was found to be one of the 7 most depressed states. I thought...they really should poll the UP independently because I think our results would be vastly different.

What a great video. Truly enjoyed it. My Lucy loves to play in the snow. Another
of her snow activities is tracking mice under the snow. She came up with 2
yesterday.

Sure looks like you two were having fun. We've had a good bit of snow, but you
have definitely had more.

I agree. That last picture is a beauty. Would look great on a calendar.

Thanks everyone! I also love the last photo of her. I snapped it quickly and just managed to capture "Bella". No props, no posed madness lol...just Bella being curious, intense, happy Bella. We got hit with more fresh powder over the last two days, but it left us with an absolutely stunning day to take a little hike yesterday. Bella and her pointer mix friend had a blast, and had quite the audience once we got to our destination of an ice cave...as they were running around carrying huge pieces of ice. They had everyone laughing, we had such a nice time.

I'm not sure she's enjoying herself....what do you think? :)

Where's Bella? GSP camoflauge at its best.

She's lab/pointer...but I always see the pointer in her face.

Trying to take home a piece of the cave!

Thinking to herself..."Why are all of these people smiling and laughing at me?"

Bella worked up quite the appetite and wanted to know what was on the menu!

Still working on restoring her head color. Such an injustice I did to her letting it sunbleach so bad. It was blaze orange before Christmas, so it's come a long way. Still not the beautiful dark chocolate liver it once was.

@Splat, if you ever visit in the Winter it may be worth the drive over. It's just a little treat you don't see everyday. Thank you NSBoyd. The lady working the stand asked me then to post it to their facebook page so I did. It was shared about 15 times and "liked" over 100. She was a famous little thing for a day lol.

Gorgeous pictures! Today was a gorgeous day here, but was about 75 and totally a spring day.

As usual, fantastic photos.
I've been meaning to ask, where did you get her collar? We've been searching for a wide one like that (looks to be 1 1/2- 2"??) and can't find any local.

Thanks everyone! I tried posting some more but it didn't complete. I will try again tomorrow. Texasbelle, as lovely the scenery...I am SO ready for Spring, better yet Summer since our summer is more like your Spring, and our Spring is wet and muddy. Cynthiarose, the collar is only about an inch. Bear in mind she's a bit smaller than Havoc, so it looks bigger. The larger lengths, though, might be a slight bit wider. It's coated and my go to snow and water collar. It came from the local feed store. I couldn't find any names on the collar and dont have the tags anymore, but I will make it a point to look at the brand next time I am there. The red one in the pics is actually her night light up collar. It is a little bit wider...again, same feed store...no clue the brand off hand.
