I showed some interest in fostering for the Pointer Dog Rescue Canada. I though once we'd settled in to the new house and done the dog things, like put a run up etc it would be nice to help some less fortunate dogs. I hadn't planned on starting just yet but I had a message to say they were in need of a home so I agreed (too soft me lol). The ladies arrived today with a very sweet, very thin, timid young pointer who was found as a stray. I'm not sure i've ever seen a dog quite so thin but she seems so sweet, bless her. She loves my daughter and is flanking her everywhere so hopefully this is a good indication that she's good with kids and my two are very boisterous and although she's timid she's not been at all aggressive. Is it appropriate to post a photo of her?

I saw the pictures on FB, Kerry-anne. I don't see any reason not to post the photos here. She's a beautiful little girl. She needs some meat on her bones, poor thing. I like that she's been able to lie down and relax in your home. Hopefully that means she has a lot of trust still in her.

Well she came as Chloe but she's fast adopting the name Fizz.....................it just suits her.

They don't bother with her really. Kassi will play with her for a while and Leos just stands there wagging his tail while she bites (play bites) his legs and lips and dances around him. When she's done he lies down lol. They try to play with her outside and she's all for it until they start getting rough. Then she lets them know she's not comfortable and they leave her alone. She doesn't get nasty it's more of a "oi, not too close, I don't like it". She's ALOT more settled tonight, not jumping up at every noise. Staying very close though.
