Hey guys

Lately I've noticed Bullet has some small, whiteish bumps, not many, on his upper outer lip below his nose. I've squeezed one, and with great force (to the point he whimpered) it did pop and it was just like a zit. Anyone else had this issue with their dog? Like I say, there's not many on his face, and I haven't touched them since. Just wondering if anyone knows what these are??

Bella gets allergy bumps, but they aren't fluid filled. I did have a cat once that got acne around his mouth and the vet advised me to stop using plastic dishes (and to use metal or ceramic). He said plastic dishes are breeding grounds for bacteria (bacteria of which was creating the acne) and if used would need to be washed daily to compare to ceramic or metal. So...I switched, and it made a big difference.

Puppies tend to get them more than adult dogs. I think they get them from rubbing against something, or the plastic dish issue. They usually go away on their own. I wouldn't worry about them unless they are bad or don't clear up on their own.

Leos had these as a pup. I used antibacterial soap to wash him up after he'd eaten. Don't know if it helped or if it went away on it's own though.

I don't know how old he is but puppy acne is fairly normal - don't squeeze them though you can wind up with an infection and that can easily become a mess. it will pass

My first Shorthair had pimple like pustules that the vet diagnoised as Pyoderma. They were mostly on the face area. So far Hanna has not had this problem.

My GSP got those a little while ago. It seemed to stem from a dirty food/water bowl, and after extra cleaning they disappeared
