| Max is loving that I bet. Rowdy got a bag of pigs ears, venison and sweet potato treats and a nyla bone/rubber ball combo toy. |

Bella's equivalent to Max's gift was a pair of booties for street walking. In the near future I will have to post the video of her walking in them for the first time. GSP meets Tennessee Walking horse. She got a stocking full of goodies at our place. At her human grandparents she got more treats and a canvas toy. Our nephew dog, also there got the same canvas toy. Bella of course destroyed hers within minutes and kept attempting to steal his. She can't fathom why he would let a perfectly good toy stay in one piece.

She wasn't convinced she could in fact still stand normal once the back ones went on lol. Merry Christmas! |

| Windsor and Velvet each got bones, dog treats and salmon rolls. Plus a lot of table scraps. But they got into a spat under the table on Christmas Eve and one of the spatters bit Lou's cousin...... we dont know which one did it as they were arguing under the crowded table. No harm done though...I believe he only got a small hole in his pants. |

@werubbertummy - Just beware that the kong safestick is NOT indestructible lol. Bella's lasted about a week only because she really paid no attention to it and had no idea what to do with it. The one time she did carry it around she knocked a mug of coffee off the coffee table and watched me cleaning it up so I think she decided it was the safestick's fault. Now it is in four pieces, each getting shorter day by day. She chews off about pingpong ball size pieces and like to carry them around chewing on them like bubble gum. I pick a handful of pieces up off the floor a day. When Bella had already defluffed her Christmas toy at the family gathering, my sister-in-law's mother told me she was talking to a man at a store who was buying several of the same dog toy. She said he swore they were absolutely indestructible. I told her I wish I had met him so I could have taken his challenge, and introduced the toy to Bella LOL. I have checked over every toy at this particular store many times leaving empty handed because nothing was remotely Bellaproof. Wish I knew what toy it was he was swearing by. |

LOLOLLLLLOLOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
Hanna would appreciate having some of those because of my loud back pack leaf blower! and the boot pic.. The pointed toe is too much!
LOL!
Hanna got a dog Buiscuit wreath .from one of my customers. Very creative !. A local woman makes them and donates them to the SPCA to be sold . Can't get a photo because I left it at home . I had it up on the fire place mantel and Hanna would keep sniffing the air for it !. |

Good stuff! @smatulewicz, that is too funny! I already love the way this breed kind of prances (at least Nixie does) so I bet that was so fun to watch! Nixie's best gift was obedience training classes from my parents! Haha, I'm sure she'll see it that way too. We start next week! Nixie also got this stuffed toy that's meant to be super tough, but of course she destroyed it! I've been holding out on getting stuffed toys because I didn't want to waste money on a toy that was only going to hold her attention for an hour or so, if that! Surprisingly it took her about two days! It has squeakers on it too but she's not as interested in them. I had just recently bought her first squeaky toy (I can't stand incessant squeaks) to see how she reacted and it doesn't fascinate her as much as I thought it would. The things you learn about your dog! Family members got her a trick ball and fun frisbee. All in all I'd say she had a great first Christmas! And she hasn't gotten into the nephew's toy soldiers and stuff so I'm happy! |

Well, Santa left his sleigh for Sadie to go back home...

Yeah... It's an 8-foot Rocket. It's actually for the 2-year old (Human son). Fully equipped with a hatch, window, and an iPod which plays Rocket-themed sounds (including countdown and blastoff, historical sound bites), and movies (Curious George, Wordworld, and Star Wars...) through a amplified computer sound-system (complete with sub-woofer to make those blast-off sounds shake the entire house). Engineered by my Brother-in-Law. |

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd |

| Other than that, the Dogs got new beds. Sadie got a new set of dummies for training. We picked up bones after Christmas on Clearance (that's the way it goes for the dogs when we have 3 human kids that still believe in Santa!). |

HA! LOL! If you want, I can send you the material list (I think)... Most things are available at Home Depot, or Menards. In all seriousness, though - it takes up a lot of space, and I can't figure how I am going to clean the thing... Instant family heirloom, though. I already told the family that next year we are just going to decorate the Rocket, instead of setting up a tree |

Tell me about it. I asked for a rocket when I was a kid, and my mom threw a blanket over a couple of chairs and gave me a book too. Oh, sorry - was that for real? |
