My 13 week old and doent like the cold as it is when I take her out to go pee/poop she try to run back to the house but today during one of are normal walks thru the wood and fields she took off back to the car a 1/2 mile away. This is the first really cold day we have been on a walk.  The rest were cool and wet but she dident care.  Do I guit working her in the cold and wait tell temps rise or continue our walk on long line?

I have had her 3 weeks and she seems to be a great pup that has a wonderfull nose and love to play fetch already.  Her traning thus far has simply been come, fetch/play nothing to hard, sit, and kennel.  She has a good concept of them all and picks things up very quick.  Has been the best pup I have ever work with.

Thanks for all the replies I got and you were all helpfull. Ellie is now grown up, and I mean alot.  She love going on walks with me even in the cold,  I didnt push the issue and she loves running around in the snow when I am with her.  This last week we now have a new first.  She is pointing are cat.  It is great.  I havent seen her point out in the fields yet, I dont think here is anyting to point to tell you the truth. but cant wait tell she points her first bird.  She is a great dog and the whole family loves her.  Even the cat she points.
