Whenever I do field work with Bugsy on the last find (I use dummies with scent or wings on them) he refuses to give me 'the bird'. He brings it all the way back to the car - no matter how far we have to go.

I get the impression he doesn't trust me to not 'lose' it again LOL

It's Bugsy's world...

Cool thread. Glad to see it continue. Sticking his head around the corner, head bobbing because his tail is wagging. Picking up slippers to get our attention, bugging me/looking sad while I'm working on the comp, and of course, digging. Just to name a few.

Boy, he really dug some depth pretty quickly. Love that his tail is going the whole time, he has a big GSP smile on, and he looks up every now and then to see if anyone else is admiring his work. Good stuff :)

With the snow on the ground, Bella doesn't like to kick her backfeet on the ground after a good poop like she does in the summer, so she waits until she gets inside and does it on the kitchen rug. She's a little stir crazy after the surgery and having been pent up for a week now, the other day I let her out to potty and we had gotten some fresh powder so she was so excited. Her feet were extra wet and she zoomed back inside so fast I didn't have a chance to stop her at the rug at the door and wipe her feet off. She immediately ran to the rug in the middle of the kitchen (as she usually does because sometimes she gets a treat after and that's where she likes to wait for it). By the time I turned around from closing the door she was standing there, ready to zoomie off at any moment...and she decided to wipe her feet. She moved all four feet so fast in a wiping motion on the rug with a huge smile on her face....I immediately died out laughing. My husband had to come see what the fuss was. It just looked so human I could hardly stand it. I have been waiting at the door now with my camera video rolling numerous times since but she of course hasn't done it again. Oh these dogs... why doesn't everyone have one? :)

Lol!!!  Yes, would LOVE to see that!   I too question why EVERYONE doesn't have a GSP!!  They are absolutely the funniest breed out there!  I'm still waiting to get a good video of Kaido and my husband following each other around in a circle.  My husband will start walking around in a circle and Kaido will follow him in a circle copying his EVERY motion, slowly lifting his foot, etc.  He had done that for about 30 seconds, but when I grabbed the camera, he only had 5 or 10 seconds left in him before he just gave up and sat!!    I have been trying to get him to do it again.....but no such luck!  It was hilarious!  I will try to upload what I have....just imagine about 30 seconds more!  of PEFECT copying!

That's funny kpwlee!!  He's like, "I got this, Mom! Don't need your help!"
