I just notice a lump anout the size of a nickel on my 6 month GSP. The vet cant see her until Saturday. Is this potentialy something serious

Well, possible. Probable, probably not. Where is the lump located? Has she had any immunizations lately near that area? Playing with other dogs where she might have gotten into a puppy tussle? Bug bites that aren't poisonous but can be inflamed and bumpy? When did you notice it ? My 10 year old suddenly had a lump appear in the middle of her back. I was terrified and it turned out to be just a bump that was lanced, had some pus and gunk in it, but cleared up with some oral antibiotics in just a few days. Try not to worry too much, and we'll send lots of good thoughts your way. Let us know what the vet finds. Phyllis and the Tribe in NM
