hi- i bought a black and white gsp from a breeder. ive never had one, i have a liver and white one now. the pup arrived yesturday, bred out of a field champion. right out of the box, when i saw this dog, it looked like a pointer with his tail cut off.he has that bulldog stance, with the high butt and shoulders, and sloping back, not the nice clean straight lines of a shorthair. he has the bullfrog face with the droopy lips that hang low over the chin, his skin is pink, he has pink foot pads, and he has a 3/4 inch diamator pink spot just above his nose.

 am i crazy? paranoid? i want to be carefull and not accuse anyone of wrong doing, i do know this fellow breeds pointers too. this dog has a straght up pointer head. i wanted to ask some of you experianced breeders about some of these charactoristics before i spoke to the dog breeder first. i can send pics to you if you want to take a look at him. i just dont want to mention the breeders name, as im not looking to trash anyone, i just want to make sure im getting what i thought  i was buying- thank you.

if you think it is a pure pointer with a docked tail check the feet.

Pointers have upland feet.  GSP's have bigger versatile webbed feet.  But if it is a cross the webbing is dominant.

Go ahead and post just pics of all angles.   May not give any answers.

But we can tell you he's a cute whatever, and some other opinions.
