Well progress is being made!  My Brittany is holding very good at this point.  From here on out its just more birds and more temptation, and more steady etc.

My GSP still requires the EC nic to stop him about 70% of the time; but he is get'n it slowly.  We had a great training session Sunday and hope to build off it Wed with more birds.

Great news and keep up the good work. One reminder though, you say he is about 70% but he needs to be 110%. When you think he has it down I would work on it another 2 weeks. High drive dogs that have caught training birds or that have retrieved shot birds are always on the edge. I like a little edge but it sure makes life difficult when working on steadiness. The job you have as the handler is to be consistent with your expectations of his performance. Remember, if you train mediocre expect mediocre results.
