I have been told that any pigeon will home. I was told to put them in the coop and leave them for 4-6 weeks or until they make a nest. Then take them out and little distance at first and let them get there bearings and just progressively work further away. I am working on building a pen now and will let you know. I was just going to trap some local pigeons or go to the local flea market that has a livestock auction?
