i have a 9wk old male which i plan on training to hunt what should i be doing at this point when do i introduce birds/gun???? ..... he goes on walks both in the field and at the park has a lot of miles in the car and is meeting people every day. doing well with COME and is crate and potty training well....

I start mine with wings too. You can also buy bird scent (usually at a good sporting good store. I hunt grouse so I us that. Put it on a decoy or bumper and drag it and hide it in the grass and let him find it and retrieve it. You need a check cord to train him with the heel and woe commands. Lots of exercise is good too!
