Great pictures. Nice assortment of breeds. What was the average age of the dogs and had the owners done much with their dogs prior to this?
If you were to state the 3 most important lessons you walked away with after the seminar what you they be?
How about sharing some of your notes with us?

Was this up at Kim and Jim Lewis' place?

Yes this was at Kim and Jim's place http://www.masondixonoutfitters.com/

I attended the advanced seminar so all the dogs had a fair amount of training. I'm sure I was the most inexperienced handler since Greta is the first dog I've trained( with lots of help from the Lewis') The age ranged from 2 1/2 to 8 yrs.My biggist fault is talking too much to my dog. Ronnis said I'm overhandling her. He also stressed getting a good solid foundation on the dog.It was interesting to see the different styles of the dogs. One of the older dogs is a field trial dog and he really covered some ground. The lewis's are starting their training classes April 19 so we can continue our work. Greta needs to work on the retrieve. We haven't had much practice since I don't shoot(yet).

Rockspring,
Have you been to any of the Mason-Dixon GSPC Hunt Test, or Training Days? The Potomac Chapter of NAVHDA? Lots of good, knowledgeable folks available to help you in any way possible. Kim and Jim are real good folks and will certainly be of great help, but you might look into the others as well during the Lewis' Preserve Season when they are wrapped up with Hunts. I'm the Hunt Test Chair for MDGSPC, just yell if I can be of any help.
