I was perusing FB the other night and I get feeds from a bunch of the GSP rescue organizations - the situation is worse than I can recall seeing it - so thought I'd post here with some of the links

http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/20464733

that is a 1 yr old male almost solid liver, his sister is there too due to be PTS 8/10

More dogs listed here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Great-Plains-Pointer-Rescue-Inc/114800078542555

another handsome guy here http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19760017

even more here

hopeful someone can help or spread the word -  I feel so sad about Jack and sister but there are so many on death row my heart is breaking

We are not in a position to take in another dog or I would be on my way to Ohio

GSP Rescue is in dire need of more foster homes, so even if you can't adopt another dog, perhaps some of you might have space for a temporary addition, to save a life?

Currently we have Bugsy who is still rehabbing (we don't actually know what is going on with him) and our home is torn up for a major project so there's nothing I can do. I have contacted SE rescue in the past and been told because we do not have a fenced yard we can't foster but once Bugsy is healthy and my home is not a disaster zone I am going to try to a) get DH on board to foster (since we can't get a second dog right now) and then b) convince a rescue that despite not having a physical fence we are an excellent home.
I hoped in posting this info here that if others see it and share it some of these pups avert being PTS

Hope there was a "Devine Intervention" for these 2 beautiful dogs as 8/10 has passed. Rescue in Ohio should have tried giving away and waive 100.00 fee. I got my Charlie for a bare amount of 35.00 and had all shots given.
