I called and talked to the lady. She said she would give me a call back if rescue didnt pick her up, which was yesterday.

She had been in the shelter for 5 months, I think. She was org turned in b/c she is "too high energy" than she was brough back a month after being adopted because of her energy level. Its probably a good thing that rescue got her.

Kerplunk,

The link does not work so I'm not sure which GSP or shelter this is - can you expand?

This past weekend, PA did pull from a shelter a less than one year old that had been in three homes and in the shelter two times in her very short life before they contacted GSP Rescue to take her.  What's amazing is that she's NOT the incorrigible, wild spitfire all those people claimed she was - she's just a typical GSP for her age.

Is this the same gal?

Deb, yes I think it is. Her name was Chloe? She was at the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska/New Hope, PA.

Cloe was sprung from the shelter on Friday by GSP Rescue PA and is in foster care right now

The odd part is that she's under one, has had three homes, ended up in the shelter twice, and her fosterer cannot find anything wrong with her

Sounds like a typical puppy of any breed. Hopefully someone will adopt her who knows the breed.

My friend who met her at the SPCA said she was very calm in her run.

Deb, does the foster mom have more than just Cloe? I have seen dogs that were just uncontrolable when they had no other dogs around. Then when with other dogs to play with they were just wonderful, happy normal controlable furkids. Maybe the adopters where taking her to a single dog home and she was going bezerk being alone. Maybe she is one of those dogs that needs FUR-family. Just a thought.

Cloe's foster dad has an older, calm GSP who's just about the perfect dog.  I think the activity level of GSPs is relative  and she has two families very interested in her, which is great!
