Hi folks. Got a phone call at work today that the York Co. Spca has a young gsp that needs a good permanent home. (This is South Central Pa. by the way). He was originally rescued with other puppies from a scum bag breeder in York Co. Got a home and was brought back due to barking. He had rub marks on his nose from where a muzzle was left on him. Got another home and they returned him today. He is up to date on all vac. microchipped and neutered. He does not have a docked tail. The shelter gal said he is such a sweet boy, she has become very fond of him and wants him to have a understanding permanent home. Deb Orpen is you read this they would like you to get in touch with them The gal that called me is named Marilyn i think. Work was nuts today so bear with me. I will contact all the folks that I know to spread the word on this poor young fella.  If anyone can help in any way please feel free to jump in. Thanks. Donna

I dont exactly, but youngish, I think around a year or less. Deb Orpen, did you see this message? He sounded like a nice young dog who had a rough start and just needed someone who understands the breed a little better and will understand him and show him the way in a kinder gentler way. Anyone out there who wants to help?

His name is Jasper and he's a year old.  One of our volunteers will be evaluating him.

Not that we know about though one of our adopters in YorkCounty knew all about Jasper.  Perhaps she put the word out?  I, too, hope this is his wonderful, permanent home!!
