Hi everyone,
We went to the shelter today and I was planning on getting a Lab.  We decided to take a trip through the kennels first just to make sure I got what I wanted.  Long story short, I ended up with a German Shorthair.  I just wanted something to hang out with me when I go out hunting or just messing around.  We have no idea how old he is but he's probably at least 8 or so.  He is very skinny and was probably abused.  He is just such a sweetheart and knows the basic commands well.  I guess I'll see how much he knows about hunting later in the year.  I don't know if he is purebred or not but  it doesn't matter to me. 

Can't find my good camera but here's a picture off my wife's phone.  It looks like I'm holding his collar but that is just his "sit" pose.  I just can't get over how good he is.  He goes everywhere with me.  Hopefully, I'll get him out afer some birds in a couple weeks.
