Ran at Kettle Moraine last Sat and DC Gambles Sam Man got UT PR 1, he has done all this at the age of 3.... His handler (me) made a few mistakes, my first time testing in this venue....But Sam did a great job....I think Sam and his Sire Fritz might be the only DC's to obtain Utility titles...Pic taken by Dagmar Nelson |

Congratulations!!! I am sure that obtaining the UT title required alot of dedication to training. Great picture!!

Sam has an incredible duck search, just naturally...He never found the duck. Just had to try to get him back after time! Ugh... |

I was pretty stressed. Drove a long way and really wanted to nail it..By the last duck drag I knew he had done pretty good and I was freaking out when he was gone a bit finding the duck! But enjoyed it! Just glad it is over... |

They drug it thru a field and left it in some corn...Well, Sam ran into the corn and did not come out forever..I was freaking! Finally showed up at the end of the row and brought it across the field to me! He got a perfect score on it, but I wanted to know what he was doing, so I asked the judge later..He said Sam went right to it and got it, then could not figure out how to get out holding the duck, so was walking and weaving thru the corn all the way to the end....Pretty funny, Sam has never been in corn! Yes, seroiusly thinking about it..I may go up and watch some next month. |

| I have judged dogs that haven't been in standing corn before and seen them do the same thing, lol. If you make it to Ohio, find me, I get in on Tuesday. You too, lb! I will be easy to find in the mornings. |

| And I am sure he is the first DC UT I, there is one FC VC. But no DC. I have a female pup running this year, if she passes, she would be the first FCVC female (her mom is a VC and I have 3 FC points on her, I should finish that, lol). Very Cool. |
