Too true!! But too late now  No one will ever say these pups lack personality, that's for sure!

Ryan,

We have added both Fritz and Dunfur breeding to our program. You can't go wrong with Fritz or any of the Dunfur Breedings.  Fritz produced lots of drive , style and great conformation with our litter last year. Very consistent litter. Lots and lots of natural ability.

The Dunfur breeding is very very stylish with tons of natural ability. They are very driven and have lots of run and class in the field. Conformation isn't bad either for all field breeding. It will be neat to see how it all pans out in the coming years.

Don't hesitate on either breeding.

See pics below. "Molly" is from our Fritz litter and "Dolly" is one of our Dunfur puppies.

Ryan,
Thanks !!! You are not the only one who has been drooling over them, Have done so myself. It is going to be fun to see those pups mature out. One thing that they all have in common and none of them lack is "They are Birddogs" with lots of class .

I have been in touch with Steve Short.  They do have a couple of really nice prairie wild bird trials run on multiple courses in AFTCA Region 14, and he runs his shorthairs in them.

Ryan since I haven't a dog in this fight I'll chime in. The litter out of Willow and Spot will probably produce a dog just like you are wanting. I've watched, judged, or been braced with Willow probably around a dozen times. In fact I think I was judging when she finished either her AFC or FC. There's nothing not to like about her.

Spot is a dog I'm on a first name basis with. I've seen him run several times and he always impresses me. Whenever I see Eldon's rig at a trial the first thing I do is go say hi to Spot, then I go say hi to Eldon.

There is one of my pups up there pretty close to you that has a very similar pedigree to how the Spot and Willow pups are bred, he belong's to a friend of Steve Short. You might want to just go give them a call and see if you can go meet the pup to get an idea of the temperament and personality in these types of dogs because they will be very similar. Structurally they should be put together very similarly as well.

Call or Email Jean and see if you can get on the list for this litter. If I'd known about it ahead of time I'd have been in for the highest pick I could get. CR

There's a reason I like dogs better'n people... .

Sorry Jean, I know that bites. I had it happen last year. Now to make the phone calls and tell everyone that was waiting, that was the real sucky part!
