Oakridge Pointing Dog Club will be holding our spring walking FT at PA Brittany Club Grounds 256 Kerr Rd. Polk, PA on May 28-30, 2011. The premium can be found at www.oakridgepointers.com under the events tab. We had a great turn out and many large field last year. The grill your steak dinner will be back this year. Just wanted to add last years stats for those who were not there and those on the fence now.
The Spring Field Trial 2010 hosted by the Oakridge Pointing Dog Inc stats are as follows....
102 dogs were registered and ran at the 3 day trial held Memorial Day Weekend 2010
A total of 25 points were awarded
2 - 4 pt majors, in Open Limited Gun Dog (OLGD) and Amateur Limited Gun Dog (ALGD) with 2 pt going to the second place ALGD winner
2 - 3 pt majors in Open Gun Dog (OGD) and Amateur Gun Dog (AGD) with 1 pt going to the second place AGD winner
The Open and Amateur stakes in Puppy and Derby all carried 2 pt wins (total of 8 pts awarded |

6??? If it is as hot as last year, you will need more than a beer!!!
And I was cringing at the thought of running 2 in 4 stakes, LOL!! (I may run 3 tho, so I will be right there with ya then, 6 stakes)
Still not 100% sure I will be there tho, may head to MI that weekend. |

| Bruce, there is a double field trial there that weekend. 4 hr drive & can run 2 OGD and 2 AGD & different grounds to run on, always wanted to check out Highland.......will see what happens this weekend then decide. (may not want to hit any FT's, LOL!!) |
