This past weekend Trey and Johnny earned a NA 112 Prize I at the Heartland Chapter test. It was a very rainy cold day but it was worth being out in to watch these two work together!Congrats to Trey!!! A VC and NA 112 within a few weeks of each other.

Thanks, he had me wondering. I hate running puppies in the rain!!!! I will post a picture of him soon, just need to photobucket a few.

Nice looking fellow you have there Trey. What is his age. We had over four inches of rain last night my birdhunting cover is under water.

He is right at 8.5 months I think, born the last saturday of January, I remember because it was during the national meeting in Omaha! I hope he doesn't get any taller, he is probably right at 25 now, but hasn't grown in a while, just started filling out though. We got about 5 inches Sunday, and some before that on Sat. am and Friday night. Everything here is underwater that is by a creek or river. Should be good duck hunting this weekend though!!!

I wanted to add, while I was at the invitational I got to see Johnny's dad (Cash) and his grandmother Sharpshooter's Funky Diva (Diva) both pass, along with 3 of Cash's littermates. Not only did they pass, but they all got 200 (highest score) and they were all owner handled, including one by a 16 year old. The litter is sired by Shooting Star's Sharp Shooter, who sadly passed away the tuesday after the inviational, he had a long, happy life, and made a lot of dog owners happy (me included) who were/are lucky enough to have a pup or grandpup from him, he will surely be missed by many.

Trey, I know the sixteen year old boy,very nice young man. I too am going to try for a duck Sat. morning. Have fun and shoot true.

Nice to see all of these Sharpshooter dogs on this site. I have 2 of them myself. Randy, how was your Wisconsin grouse hunting trip?
