Looking to add AKC testing to my schedule this spring for the doggies. Anyone know of any clubs that host the AKC tests in MI? We do NAVHDA and NSTRA currently. Any links or such would be appreciated -Bob

The AKC web site has a searchable directory of all events, including hunt tests. Just go to www.akc.org and look for the directory. Events may not yet be listed for the Spring, but some will be. You can search by state, event, forward, backwards, every which way! Eleanor in NJ

I know there are a lot of hunts that get run in Ionia. Havn't seen them posted yet though on AKC. Let me know if you hear when they will be run. I will also keep you posted.

Well good dealeo! I would like to get my dogs some AKC points. Not to mention you meet some nice new people and dogs at tests. My Brittany is a prospective stud and my GSP is from a untested bloodline that was primarily show dogs. My instincts have lead me to believe my GSP has outstanding ability and i would be more than happy to show a few nay sayers wrong.

That is always fun to do. We did that a lot with our boy GSP. Too bad he had a bad temperment toward strangers and then evenatualy my kiddo! Darn dogs!

Well my guys don't have that problem.....they act like lovers not haters, ahahah. My GSP is the funny little turkey; tries to win you over with his eyes. And his pointing....its crazy intense. I can not wait to get some good pics of him on birds; i "hope" this weekend on some phez i got lined up.

Well we fixed our male and ended up finding a perfect home for him with no kids and lovly female dogs. He is having a riot! Now all we have is the lovers with the sad eyes. American Pit Bull Terriers are worse with those sad eyes. If they could look at you any more patheticly they would have tears rolling down their cheeks.

Good deal! NAVHDA has the spring test there the end of May. Can get Kilians Natural Ability done in May and Rugers Master Hunter in April! Leaves me all summer to prepare for later summer and fall tests meaning i should be able to add some good titles well before hunting season.
