I am planning to stay in San Francisco between the above dates and wonder if anyone knows of any shows I could visit which are not too far from SF (I will be staying at the SF State University with a Professor friend who is not a GSP owner!).    I am a bit nervous about renting a car and driving on the "wrong" side of the road (for us English), so it would need to be somewhere I could access easily via public transport.
