Marie, Thanks, I also think Cody looks handsome in his sweater. I didn't even think about it matching his favorite ball. I found a deal and they only had blue or red. haha. I wasn't sure he would keep it on since he was a rescue dog who was always chained to a tree, I doubt he ever had clothes. I dress my 2 Boston Terriers and felt bad Cody didn't have a sweater or coat to wear outside to play in. He left it on outside and inside till I had to crate him when we went out for a bit last night. He can be such a good boy when he wants to be. haha

I got one of those balls for Hunter. Here are a couple of him in motion. Not really clear pics but you can see he is so happy with it. I only threw it twice then all he did was run and run and run with it. The pups tried to take it but without any luck.

Hunter looks like the master of keep away. That is so funny. I'll have to get one for Molly. She is due for some new toys to keep her busy in the house this winter.

He is! You should see them in action. The girls are getting pretty good at catching him now. It is awesome to see them play keep away. The girls are so fast and at full speed they turn together at full speed and everything. It's like watching the Blue Angels doing stunts. Poor Hunter. He will be running as good as he can and Belle will scoot in behind him and grab his rear end and wipe him out! It is so funny to watch. Of course then I have a green grass stained shorthair. Not sure if that would be conformation or not ha ha Here's a pic of Hunter while he was recovering from his pad injury. I think he is such a ham!

Every year we take our furry kids on a week long expedition to the mountains, usually in late September.  These pictures are from a couple of the trips we took to Lake City, CO.  We do day hikes that often take us to over 13,000 ft.  The girls love it and are totally worn out by the end of the day.  They do the trails about 10 times to our once.  Up the trail to explore and then back to check on mom and dad's progress.  We used to go in summer to see the wild flowers, but we got tired of the summer crowds.  Now we go in fall and get the color spectacular of the leaves and no crowds.

Texas Belle,

What wonderful Fall shots!  Don't these dogs just appear to be made to coordinate with Fall colors?  I love the vertical shot with the beautiful light!

Ace1

Hunter looks like such a total GSP ham!  From the laid back couch potato (with bum paw to boot) to silly guy hauling around a huge tire!

I'm cracking up over all these dogs who seem to have chosen toys 3 sizes too big!

Here's is fall on Long Island this year...Oct 20th Seven's 4th birthday and it was 80 and sunny so we went to the beach with the boys. Hopefully the leaves will start falling soon and we'll get some better shots of Seven in the leaves!!

Ranger -

Thanks for the comment on the vertical shot.  I love photography almost as much as hiking with the girls and my husband.  I don't know if you noticed, but the girls were looking wistfully up the trail in that shot.  They sometimes have a hard time waiting on the photographer.  And yes they are perfect in fall shots.  Of course, I think they are perfect in any season.

It is great to see all the wonderful shots of the dogs.  They are great subjects.
