Really? Did/does he have loose stool? Like tessa said,is a cough (and slight temp rise) due to Giardia?
You were really lucky to catch it in the first stool sample.

I believe it was an "accidental" finding.. 5 days of Panacur.

Well, lucky on the Giardia catch then. Tessa was thought to have had it a few weeks ago, was never confirmed by the fecal but they put her on Flagyl anyway.

But what did the vet say about the cough?

He actually thinks the cough is probably just allergies...
