or perhaps not...

is there any difference, other than it being easier to eat, in feeding food dry or soaked for 20 mins?

I have been feeding the pup (nearly 5 months) Acana Puppy and Junior. She's been on it for a few weeks now with no problems. I've always soaked it though. Yesterday I gave her half soaked and half dry and today just dry and today she has very runny poop. Diahrea. She's been wormed and had her popped tested for parasites, the only thing that's changed is the fact that the food is now dry.

Can that cause it?

This is just a guess at best, but I would think the only difference that could potentially cause that would be that the presoftened food may be easier for her to digest and now her tummy is used to that. Without the water maybe her tummy is working a little harder to digest which has shocked it a bit...so to say. If there is logic to that guess I'm sure if you continue to feed dry, her tummy will adjust and the soft stool will hault with time.
