I've finally put together a video of Kintra.

My girl passed away a year ago tomorrow (11/11/11) at 3pm.  I've been trying to bring myself to do this for the past year, but i didnt want to misrepresent her life and personality by putting together a sad video, i also really struggled to bring myself to look at photos and videos for the time required to put it all together.

So here's a snippet of my baby girl's life with us ( i could have made this video 100 hours long) - she was a beach bum, a tearaway runner-abouter, an amazing cuddler, a people "person" - and she changed everything for us  My girl Kintra:

Absolutely wonderful. I'm all teary :( She looks like she was an amazing girl and a blast to have around. I saw Bella in so many of those photos, I can see now why you have mentioned Bella reminding you of her. What a wonderful tribute video, perfect song. I know it was hard to make, but you'll be so glad you have this.

Now that I can see through my tears, I'd want to express what a wonderful video
that was. You did a great job. It's such a tribute to your sweet Kintra and the
spirit she was.. Sleep softly sweet girl. God Bless.

Thank you very much for all of your kind comments.  I realised a few weeks ago that from my initial first question about food things quickly escalated when Kintra fell ill, yet i never actually got around to introducing her to you all, so thank you very much for taking the time to watch the video of my special girl.

Today we went out for a while planning to buy a tree/shrub to put in the garden in her memory, but we realised that Keely would probably chew it and take it for a run around the garden  so instead we found a simple wee plaque that says "Dogs leave pawprints on your heart" - we've put it up just inside our back door where it cant be missed by anyone coming in, and it says it all for us   We had a cuddle (with Keely sandwiched in the middle) and watched the vid (both greetin').  It's so strange how a year can go by so quickly, despite each day back then going by so slowly.

What a wonderful, wonderful, tribute to a beautiful little girl!  Through the tears, I had to  also smile, and even laugh at some of those pictures and videos!  GSP's are all alike in so many ways, and yet no two are the same!   There is only one Kintra!  Judging by the many pics and videos, I'd say Kintra had a blast with her family!   She is so lucky to have had you, and YOU are lucky to have had her!

You did a wonderful job putting this tribute together!  And, yes, you are right, Kintra would want you to celebrate her time with you, and you did just that.....then and now!  She certainly celebrated a lot!  I love her energy! What a crazy little thing!     R.I.P. Kintra, for you are forever in the heart and mind of your mommy and daddy......and GSP forum fans!   Beautiful!  Thanks so much for sharing.......

You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

For some reason I decided to watch this again ... and it got the tears rolling again. Shiraz was in a deep sleep and came over to see what the matter was :) Love these dogs!

You really captured her spirit and what an appropriate song. Well done!

She'll never be gone as long as she is so snugly in your heart.

I love the one where she is lying majestically on a hill with her legs stretched out behind her!

Thanks for the kind words - i was thinking about her a lot today because we left to go on a week holiday to the lake district in the wee campervan, and as usual we shouted out "c'mon Kintra, let's go" to come with us as we were leaving  Unfortunately, we broke down so now we're back home in sunny ayrshire

Beautiful, a few tears rolling down my cheeks too now and i'm not ashamed to admit it. These dogs take up such a huge part of our hearts that there is a gaping hole when they leave. Thank you for showing us this :)

I too had some tears rolling down my cheeks, knowing how much we all love our furry babies and would give anything to have them be here forever with us. Beautiful video weerubbertummy! Another reminder to give our dogs lots of hugs and kisses!

Very touching tribute.  I am aways amazed at how people put videos and photos to music with words. I have yet to accomplish that.  I'm sure it took alot of work to do. So sorry for the  loss. of your beautiful young girl.
