Need live pigeons for training. Been trying to trap some, but not having any luck so far. Grouse season is just around the corner and want to do some training with my dog. I live in the northern-most part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, so if anyone knows where I can purchase some, please let me know. Until then, I'll keep trying the live trap.

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd

Max say's if you let us come up to the UP & hunt he will give you some of his quail ! I don't know how your game laws are but can you just take him in the woods & train on wild birds ? No gun of course if your season is closed .
