bullet is now approx. 8 months of age, and since approx. 6 months, my husband and i have noticed a slight yellowish discharge coming from his "honkey tonk" let's call it. he eats normally (now just over 60lbs), drinks normally, plays like a madman, and shows absoloutely no signs or symptoms of any abnormalities. it isn't a "drippy" situation, and it's not something that is on going 24/7. i'm just wondering if this is a normal occurance with male GSP pups as they mature?

That is normal discharge on males.

My beagle had the same problem off and on until he was about ten and then regularly until he died at 16. Appeared just to be a male dog thing.

Vic, one of the shorthairs I was raised with had that and Rowdy (my dog) does sometimes as well. I've seen it on males of other breeds too, so I wouldn't be overly concerned.

WHEW!! i wasn't too sure...like i mentioned, this is a new experience for me. i'm glad to hear that it's nothing to be too concerned about. actually. i noticed it on my bosse's german shepard when he came into my office and decided to be all "classy" on my floor for a belly rub. :S
