Got back from a month-long cross country roadtrip.

A highlight was the first time Casey played with another GSP.

And, at 4 yrs old, he finally learned how to swim! We consider this monumental as he was afraid of water - not long ago, he would not cross knee deep water.

He was skitterish of the waves at first, but eventually waded in. The shallow slope and floating effects of the salt water seemed to help.

Casey met many new people and new places, and did well overall. My sister in law, who had not seen him in a while, said in a good way, he's a better dog.

Both dogs travelled well in the back of the truck with a canopy/topper. Everytime we started to pack, they would not leave our sides, and hopped in immediately.

Glad to make it home safe!

and in the next picture I love the expression on the dog with the orange color - that is sooooooo Bugsy. Except when I see that face I know I had better find out real quick what he's got in his crosshairs!
