Moved to Utah a few months ago and Rudi has proven himself to be a reliable and capable mountaineer. He's a bit of a baby when it comes to camping so he gets a down sleeping bag in the car at night, but once the sun comes up he's up for some serious hiking and scrambling. The best part is he sleeps for at least a day after long hikes
Great photos - i bet you had a tired dog after that. I really miss hillwalkiing with a dog, cant wait til Keely's old enough to take her up the hills, although i'm not sure i could trust her on some of the exposed routes that your boy seems to take in his stride
......and, proud of his FEET
wow lot of responses! thanks for the nice remarks
So I read a while ago when researching the breed "do well on rough terrain" - most times he does better than me ; )
Gl on your trip to CO TB, sounds like a great time! A week or two of goating around a big range sounds fantastic.
