Welllll HELLO my long lost GSP friends!

I am feeling like a slacker because I have not posted in MONTHS!  I know that Facebook is partially responsible for that, but mostly it's the fact that I have not hardly had a spare moment to do much of anything besides work, keep up the house, and take care of Logan (human child) and Osiris (fur child!)  LOL  

Most times I don't know whether I am coming or going, or whether to scratch my watch or wind my butt!!! 

We just got back from two weeks in Northern Michigan, and it was AWESOME except that Osiris had to stay behind.  But he had it pretty good.  He got to stay with my best friend and her family.  They have another dog and a great big yard to run in, and also a large kiddie pool that Osiris loves to swim in!   I went to pick him up today and he pretty much pinned me down and "hugged" and licked me to death!  Sara said he spent ALL day waiting by the window, as if he knew I was coming.  It's crazy how they know.

Ok, I am going to end this because the screen keeps doing something strange, and I am afraid I am going to lose this post....

I will be making an effort to post more stuff, more often.  I miss you all!

smatulewicz and Nancy D - we visit Grayling every year and stay right on the Au Sable River. Now that I think about it, it's probably not Nothern MI when you consider the UP, but for us, it's Northern MI. And Nancy - we were in Gaylord. We go there every year to do a little shopping since Grayling doesn't have much. My Dad always like to visit Jays Sporting Goods. When we went, there was a man sitting outside selling his Brittany Spaniel pups - they were so cute and my son loved playing with them. Next year, I'll look you up since we'll be so close!

We started going to Grayling when I was a baby. My dad would have to do Army training at Camp Grayling every year for two weeks, so we would go along and stay in a cabin on the Manistee. When he retired from the Army, we didn't go for about 10 years, but then we missed it, so now we go back every summer. We love it and we find that we can access most other places from there. This year, we spent a day in Traverse, Sleeping Bear, Glen Arbor, and Empire. We will LOVE the splendor of that part of the state!
