We have no snow... just bad grass and a lot of oranges (which Jackson carries around the yard...until he punctures them and then he leaves them and find another one)

finally resting (but still trying to tease his brother with his taunting pose... "you know you want this orange...."<img src=" src="/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/blue/emoticons/wink.gif" />

Jodi,

I love the BAD GRASS...it's just like ours

Last year we put some fertilizer on...( not my expertise )  not sure what kind...just a bunch of numbers to me...Greg was mowing every two days...it was grass from HELL..I swear I could watch it grow...Not sure how we'll handle the bad grass this year..ours has patches of green & yellow' ish....

BTW...I love the pics of Jackson's brother..I've never been a big fan of small dogs...but that lil guy stole my heart

Aw thanks!  Sanchez says thanks too... I am always shocked how well he keeps up with jackson and his long legs!!

yea bad grass stinks...Just before winter we had a new septic system put in and they tore up the yard so right now it is just mostly weeds I am guessing...we put sod in our front yard...and eventually when the boat is finished and more remodelling inside is done... we will prob do a porch/deck and maybe sod the backyard.  It is a neverending battle with weed and feed.  lol!  Jackson does not help at all either!!

Jodi,

we put sod in our front yard...as a "life saving move" We were knee deep in mud and crud..that was about 14 years ago,   WE hadn't prepared the surface properly...and we still have an ugly patchy front lawn...our back lawn was a rocky field when we started...I kept saying>>>>

" IF YOU MOW IT, IT WILL GROW "....since I was the resident lawn mower at the time...I kept at it, and from a distance it appeared to be A LAWN..

Now Greg waters all summer and he's the primary MOWER & grounds keeper, It's getting better

Here's Bo looping around the yard in December ... at this point his snow pile was only 3 feet high ... it melted and now it's over 4 feet high! 4 weeks to spring, gaaa!

Here's a couple more from "vacation" at the kennel.

I love looking at these pics. The ears are always funny! :)
This is Kerney trying to catch a frisbee. Her ears are flipped back because she was running so fast. :D

This is Bailey and Kerney on the run.

Tucker, I have tried to work with Kerney on it. She likes the water but not the jumping part. :( I hope to get to work with Bailey this year, when it warms up some. I watched a few competitions on TV and it looks fun. Then looking at all these pics of dogs doing it on here makes me want to try it.
