Had Sadie out on a little R&R at my parents place (on a lake). She likes to jump!
Ok, so a little fun with Windows Live Movie editor as well |

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd |

We have been trying to get her into an event around us. Couple of things holding us back - first, the weekends they are scheduled for are just insane for us (Human kids are priority) - Dance recitals, swim meets... Second, Sadie is definately not apt to cold water (hope that changes with age!). She jumped great last year, but earlier this spring wouldn't after her first plunge (assume it was temperature). Finally, jumping into a pool is a little different from jumping into a lake, so I want a good practice session to work her through any glitches. I believe it will happen eventually.
Personally, I like watching her, and seeing the slow-mo part of the video really shows how wonderful the shorthair is - poetry in motion! With the shorthair, there is no hiding the physical/muscular behind fur, or hair. It really is beautiful to watch (my opinion...). |

| Actually, it was great videography from my wife - she caught the bumper and the dog almost perfectly! The toss was a lucky one. Normally I botch it all up. Dog jumps the same regardless (she only has full-speed). |

| Thanks, all! It is fun to watch her jump! Not a lot that I did - just taught basic obedience - sit, fetch. She does the rest! |

Found this photo on my camera from afterwards. Looking as if to say, "AW DAD! No More Jumping?"

| LOL, I thought her face said a little of "Dad, I jumped too much again...naptime?" But, maybe that's just my lazy girl that goes crazy and hard and crashes even harder. |

| Yeah, now that you mention it. Of course, as I remember it afterwards, I think it is more a, "Dad - you suck" (she is an adolescent at almost 2 now). Afterwards she pulled against the leash, yipped really loud, and dug in the sand... |
